Report Methodology

Gartner surveyed more than 3,900 hybrid/remote knowledge workers in December 2021 and 200 HR leaders in February 2022

Why it Matters

This statistic matters because it highlights the significant impact of workplace flexibility on employee culture connectedness. With the ability to choose where, when, and how to work, more than half of the workers experienced high culture connectedness. Conversely, those with little flexibility had a much lower sense of connection to their organization's culture. This emphasizes the role of flexibility in fostering a positive and engaged workforce.
