The first survey involved 2,000 knowledge workers from businesses with less than 250 employees, with 178 respondents identifying as marketers. The second survey included 1,500 knowledge workers from small-to-medium-sized businesses across various fields, with 250 respondents being marketers. Both surveys had random, voluntary, and anonymous responses. Additionally, Zapier created a quiz on task automation, which was taken by 622 marketers between September 2021 and early August 2022.
